The business meeting of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, to decide on the Douglas County Open Space Initiative, which has been very beneficial fior Franktown, has been changed and moved in time only from 1:30 to 4:00 PM on Tuesday 8/23.
As explained in my previous Newsletters on this meeting, the purpose of this meeting will be for the Commissioners to vote to determine if the referendum to continue tax support for Open Spaces will be placed on the ballot this Fall.
Your presence at this meeting will help demonstrate your interest in continuing strong support for our Open Spaces. As usual, speaking at this meeting is optional.
The meeting will be held at the County offices at 100 Third Street in Castle Rock.
