Hi Everyone,
Some new meeting dates and information have been added on the county website on the re-do that the County is planning in order to change the CMP. See below. In our approach we need to be aware that any changes will affect the entire county, but, regardless of that, the changing of the CMP will definitely affect Franktown. Whether it’s positive or negative effects, I truly believe rests in the hands of the citizens of Franktown. Together we’ve already proven that Although this is a fairly lengthy 12 – 18 month process (a much different process than our fight to stem development in Franktown), and it’s just begun, please know that your FCC II Board and Steering Committee (a truly amazing, hard working and dedicated group of people) are working on facts, plans and meetings to update everyone.
The March 14th meeting seems to be a really good one for all of us to attend so we can get an idea of how the process will work. At the very least, please attend the Franktown public hearing at the firestation on March 29th. BUT, the more of these hearings you all attend and speak up to be heard on what we want for our rural town and our county, definitely the better.
ONWARD TOGETHER!
Warm regards to the phenomenal citizens of Franktown and the members of the FCC II!
Diana Love
President, FCC II
