THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT HEARING OF ALL! I cannot emphasize that enough! From information I have received from Douglas County, it appears that the Board of County Commissioners’s (BOCC) hearing on the FVPD application will be on July 25th at 2:30.
Here’s the information from the BOCC staff:
- It looks like the Hearing on the Franktown Project will be July 25th at 2:30pm.
- The Commissioners are not open to an evening meeting. . . . .
- They have, however, agreed to put this item last on the 2:30pm agenda.
- The Commissioners do not limit time for public comments.”
Remember, this is the hearing for the FINAL decision on the FVPD application. Do whatever you can to be there! Make your plans now. If you can’t make it by 2:30, come as soon as you can because this will more likely than not go into the evening. Get out the word to everyone. Forward this email far and wide! Call people! Bring family members!

Your Board and Steering Committee will be setting up a fire station meeting soon to get everyone organized and prepared for what to do and what to expect.
