Important Meeting at Franktown Fire Station: Monday July 10 @ 6:30 pm

Save our Water!

Save Franktown!Hi Everyone,

On Monday  night at the fire station there will be a meeting for everyone to attend that will bring you up to speed on procedures to be followed for the BOCC hearing, unique ways for communication with the Board of County Commissioners to get their attention on the community’s wishes and desires on the Franktown Village rezoning proposal, necessary background information, overview/explanation of the main points in the Douglas County Master plan that covers Franktown and much more.

REMEMBER the final vote on the Franktown Village rezoning proposal and water conservation easement waiver request is almost here!  That final vote will be on July 25th at 2:30 in the same building and room as the Planning Commission hearings were held.  This is the hearing with the Board of County Commissioners.  They are elected!  Get there are 1:30 to sign up to speak.  Let your voices be heard.  But whether you speak or not, be there to show your opposition to this rezoning proposal by your presence!  As soon as you sign up please join the picket line.  Or join it right away if you don’t want to speak.  Dan Craig is in charge of the picket line.   If you can’t make it at 2:30 because of scheduling conflicts (work, etc.), come as soon as you can because it will more than likely go into the evening–IF WE PACK THE HOUSE!!

Attached you will find a flier that gives you background information and the date and time of the hearing.

Please forward this in any way you can:

  • social media,
  • door to door,
  • email, etc.

Get the word out and get people there!

THIS IS IT!  IT IS CRUCIAL TO PACK THE HEARING ROOM ON JULY 25TH FOR THE FINAL VOTE ON THE PROPOSED FRANKTOWN REZONING PROPOSAL!

ONWARD TOGETHER!
