Firestation meeting on July 10th at 6:30.
The June 28th firestation meeting is moved to July 10th at 6:30. This is important as it will be preparation for the community’s presentation to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on July 25th starting at 2:30. You will be brought up to date on the latest information for the BOCC hearing and how you can reach out to your friends and neighbors to get the word out.
Board of County Commissioners Hearing:
The latest information from Douglas County yesterday is that the developers right now are planning on going forward to the BOCC for a decision on July 25th.. Those of you who can make the BOCC hearing early please get there at 1:30 at the latest to sign up to speak. Those who can’t make it by 2:30, it is just as important for you to come as soon as you can to fill the hearing room to overflowing. WE ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO FILL THE HEARING ROOM LIKE WE DID ON THE FIRST PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING BECAUSE THIS HEARING IS THE BIG ONE! THE DECISION! For those of you who heard the Planning Commissions deliberations, you heard the Planning Commissioners many times remark on the turnout. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be there!!!
