Hi Everyone,

Here we go again!

Please go on the internet  to:  Douglas County Planning Pro and do a project search for a proposed development called Sundown Oaks Metropolitan District, Project no. SV2025-005 (I for some reason if this doesn’t open up, some people have found if it doesn’t,  just put in SV2025.) This is a large development with a  Metropolitan District! The lots will not all be 5 acres per residence as required in Franktown area zoning right now.

But the worst?? It proposes a METROPOLITAN DISTRICT in the middle of Franktown!  Metropolitan Districts are causing financial problems, and other problems, all over the state! Look it up.  The power of these Districts (usually developers get on the boards to run these) is tremendous!

It also proposes using Upper Dawson water and using water from the Laramie Fox Hills aquifer to augment that use of the Upper Dawson.  Laramie Fox Hills water is toxic!

There are many other problem/issues.

Your written input to the County opposing this is imperative!  Right now the deadline is only June 18th! They didn’t give us much time.  Send your comments right away to  to:

[email protected]

Also, please get the word out!  PLEASE forward this to everyone you know.  This would be disastrous.

ONWARD TOGETHER,
